May 17-20, 2019 - The Next West Fine Art Show

Hello everyone,

First,  thank you for signing up for our newsletters which are generally sent out just prior to every one of our art shows.

Our next show is coming up on May 17-20 at the Cloverdale Rodeo.

Featured at this show:

We have 18 exceptional artists, as usual, admission is included in the price of admission to the Rodeo.

And we have a Special Exhibition, Remembering Jeff Robinson. Jeff was diagnosed with Crohn's Disease at the age of ten. He was a great kid and grew into a fine young man who possessed a wonderful sense of optimism and a great sense of humour. Both of these qualities served as medicine each and every day of his life. He did not recover from his 26th and final surgery; he died at the young age of 33. Jeff's battle with Crohn's Disease was over, leaving us to remember his bravery and his smile. "He  is dearly missed,” said his dad, Red Robinson.  Red Robinson, O.B.C. is a founding member of CH.I.L.D. Foundation.

Our Musical Artist,  John Gilliat on guitar, performing all weekend on our show stage and a wine bar is located beside our stage.

And we have a Children's Art Center sponsored by Opus so that youngsters can keep busy while Mom and Dad enjoy looking at artwork and meeting the artists.

By clicking:   www.westart.ca , you will arrive on our home page and be able to find a mini-gallery for each featured artist so that you will get a feel for the show and the incredible artists that will be there to greet you. Partial proceeds of all artwork sales will be donated to CHI.L.D.Foundation and the Cloverdale Rodeo Youth Initiative Foundation.

Another special feature of the show is artist,"King" Richard Brodeur: "When I was playing with the Canucks I was painting at home and brought a sketch pad with me on the road". Today, Brodeur works on his art every day". Don't miss the chance to say hi!

Our show poster is included below;  we hope to see you on May 17-20 and please, MENTION THE SHOW TO ALL YOUR FRIENDS!
